Hello, I'm Locke Meredith with a Legal Lines tip for you. If you're injured on the job, you must see an attorney. It is probably one of the most complicated areas of the law and oftentimes you will be able to see an attorney for free, at least on the first visit. Workers compensation law is quite unique. Also, at the same time, you may have what's called a personal injury claim. Remember, in workers comp, all you're paid for is your average weekly wage up to maybe around 0 a week and your medical expenses. That's it. No compensation for mental and physical pain and suffering or numerous other claims. Also, oftentimes, workers comp and how you present the claim can damage a personal injury claim. So my Legal Lines tip from me, Locke Meredith, to you is always see an attorney if you're injured on the job. Video Rating: 0 / 5
